The team consists of over 200 employees working in the Business and First Lounges. Our busy Lounge operation caters for Qantas's most valuable passengers every week.

We are looking for a Full time and Part time - Kitchen Hand to join our fast pace working environment to provide high quality customer service to our guests.
About the role;
We are seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team within the Qantas Lounges by Accor at the Sydney International Airport. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Kitchen department.
Duties;
- Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and scullery
- Operate dish washing machine as per instruction manual
- General pantry duties and maintaining cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers
- Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
- Ensure correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturers instructions.
- Prepare mise-en-place as required
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices
- Rotational roster
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Preferred experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
- Understanding of food safety requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure
- MUST have flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings and weekends
