Job Description

Sales Manager – Leisure (Indian Market) 

The Sales Manager – Indian Market is tasked with developing and executing strategies aimed at luxury travelers and wedding planners. You will identify new business opportunities, craft customized proposals, and effectively close deals to drive hotel revenue. Additionally, you will handle month-end reporting and monitor account performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development for the Wedding and Luxury Market: Develop a sales strategy for the wedding and luxury market segment by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel/market trends.
  • Revenue Maximization Strategies: Create selling strategies to maximize revenue capture.
  • Business Development through International Channels: Solicit new business opportunities from international operators, travel agents, and wholesalers through effective business practices.
  • Prospecting and Account Expansion: Prospect from various sources to expand the account base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain existing client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Professional Presentation Skills: Demonstrate professional presentation skills at Industry Trade Shows, Sales Events, and Networking functions.
  • Sales Calls Execution: Conduct sales calls (Sales Visits) as outlined in the Sales Plan and report daily.
  • Effective Communication and Coordination: Communicate all client information to the appropriate departments via site visit notification forms and conduct pre-arrival internal meetings when necessary.
  • Activity and Production Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly activity and production reports.
  • Promotion Coordination: Recommend and coordinate the deployment of any necessary promotions.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Team: Work with the Sales & Marketing team to develop marketing strategies for the assigned segment.
  • Meeting Participation and Presentation: Attend and potentially present information at internal and external meetings as assigned.

Qualifications

  •  Experience: Previous sales experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications: Computer literate in necessary applications.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required in English and Indian; Arabic proficiency is an additional asset.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliability and Responsibility: Highly responsible and reliable in all aspects of the role.
  • Customer Focus and Professionalism: Ability to focus on guest needs, always maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.
