We've now opened our first UK hotel outside of London…and where better than the characterful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. We are now looking for an experienced energetic proactive Sales Manager to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing a portfolio of accounts driving corporate room nights into The Hoxton, Edinburgh.   We’ll look to you to establish relationships with key players and grow their loyalty. If you’re great with people, have relevant experience in a hotel sales environment and are looking to join our growth journey, this is just the ticket.

The Hox in Edinburgh will boast 214 bedrooms influenced by the Georgian heritage of the building and city,  a main restaurant and big lobby & bar, The Get Together, a large event space for up to 200 guests, and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

What you’ll do…

  • Working closely with our Director of Sales, you will actively win over new business and manage key relationships while working towards segment revenue goals and KPIs.
  • You’ll be responsible for developing and growing key accounts within the following market segments: MICE, Corporate, Entertainment and Sports
  • You’ll be preparing and executing creative sales strategies to source, drive and grow our revenues from your Managed Accounts.
  • You’ll be generating new business through market research and liaising closely with ACCOR and the Hoxton Global Sales Team
  • We’ll look to you to build up Account Management Plans, making sure you’re “in the know” on the latest market news and competitor insights too.
  • You’ll be organising show rounds, HOX sleepovers and familiarisation trips to maximise The Hoxton’s exposure amongst Key Decision Makers 
  • Complete all other duties, tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • We’re looking for someone with high energy and a buzzy personality, ready to represent The Hoxton brand at industry tradeshows,  networking events, Sales calls & trips.
  • Cross-sell The Hoxton and Ennismore properties globally to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new group business opportunities in corporate, social, and event segments.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with group clients, including event planners, corporate clients, and associations.
  • Conduct sales presentations, site inspections, and client meetings to promote the property’s group facilities and services.
  • Analyze Corporate & Group sales data and market trends to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
