We can’t wait to open our first UK hotel outside of London…and where better than the characterful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. We are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing a portfolio of accounts driving corporate room nights into The Hoxton, Edinburgh.   We’ll look to you to establish relationships with key players and grow their loyalty.

The Hox in Edinburgh will boast 214 bedrooms influenced by the Georgian heritage of the building and city (including the introduction of a new room category for the Hox), a main restaurant and big lobby & bar, a large event space and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

What you’ll do…

  • Working closely with our Director of Sales, you will actively win over new business and manage key relationships while working towards segment revenue goals and KPIs.
  • Responsible for driving corporate room nights into The Hoxton Edinburgh from both global and local accounts in line with the hotel’s strategies and budgets.
  • Generate new business through market research and liaising closely with Accor and The Hoxton global sales team.  
  • We’ll look to you to build up account management plans, making sure you’re “in the know” on the latest market news and competitor insights too.
  • Prepare and execute creative sales strategies to source, drive and grow our revenues from your managed accounts.
  • Responsible for ensuring Agency 360 reports are utilised to review market penetration, grow market share from account base and look for new business opportunities.
  • Ensure rate loading accuracy across account base and that rates are loaded and bookable by given deadlines.
  • Organise show rounds, HOX sleepovers, familiarisation trips, office visits and presentations to maximise The Hoxton’s exposure amongst key decision makers.
  • Cross-sell The Hoxton and Ennismore properties globally to maximise revenue opportunities.

  • Proficiency in Agency 360, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Someone with high energy, ready to represent The Hoxton brand at industry networking events and sales calls & trips.
