Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Event/Wedding) to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and inspire our sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in the event and wedding industry.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue for event and wedding services
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from initial client contact to contract closure
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sold events and weddings
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management
  • Manage the sales budget and forecast future sales performance
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 3-5 years in event or wedding sales management
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and event planning tools
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the event and wedding industry trends
  • Understanding of local and cultural wedding traditions in Malaysia
  • Strong budgeting and financial planning abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Certifications in event planning or wedding coordination (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
