Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Efficiency Coordinator Pacific to join our National Sales team based in Sydney. This position involves coordinating and undertaking daily sales activities and processes to ensure the timely and efficient management of the corporate RFP lifecycle. This role actively supports the Pacific sales office and hotels with technical expertise, while also providing additional coordination across various business segments within the Pacific Sales disciplines. Key responsibilities include the implementation of processes, facilitating communication, delivery of technical support to hotels. 

This role is based in Accor’s corporate office in Sydney.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

 

  • Support the RFP lifecycle for Pacific-based accounts by collaborating with Global and National Key Account Managers on RFI processes, hotel training, roll-outs, ongoing support, and detailed tracking and analysis to ensure program success.
  • Provide administrative and technical support across the commercial contracting lifecycle, including managing Global & National programs, maintaining key initiatives and data, auditing rate solicitations and delivering troubleshooting.
  • Resolve Cvent rate issues efficiently for Key Account Managers and Sales, and manage process changes from system updates with supporting training and documentation.
  • Support Apartments & Realty RFPs through system alignment, rate loading, and technical troubleshooting with the Coordination team.
  • Serve as the main contact for Pacific hotel properties, internal teams, external clients, and suppliers.
  • Manage and resolve complaints from customers and Travel Management Companies (TMC’s)  related to contracted accounts, ensuring timely action and proper escalation when needed.
  • Coordinate sales and distribution initiatives as directed by the Director of Sales – Corporate, Government & Airline.
  • Manage and triage the RFP inbox, handling enquiries and supporting clients and hotels, including task allocation and annual leave coverage.
  • Support hotel onboarding and updates, including room type changes and distribution issue resolution for Pacific hotels.
  • Manage Accor Chain Wide Offers processes across Pacific business units, including setup, TMC loading, rate checks, and annual renewals, while supporting general admin tasks like Meetings & Events lead input and follow-up.
  • Contribute to team efficiency by suggesting improvements and assisting with coverage of admin duties and leave support across the Pacific sales

Qualifications

What we need from you

  • Experience within hotel operations & hotel sales preferred
  • An ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong focus and passion for hotel operations, hospitality & travel
  • Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry
  • Experienced with managing a diverse team in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, reporting tools in addition to Outlook and web-based applications
  • Role model in Accor Values and Heartist Culture
