Just a few steps from the most famous leisure district, Istiklal Street and Pera, lies a boutique hotel in a surprisingly quiet street from Taksim to Dolmabahçe, the Artisan Istanbul MGallery as a showcase of sublime Turkish hospitality. Our hotel is located mere steps from the Bosphorus coast and within walking distance from Taksim. It’s also very convenient in terms of being a ten-minute drive from Karakoy which is recently the most popular and vibrant neighbor, having Galataport and Istanbul Modern Museum and Nişantaşı, which reflect the modern, chic, and elegant part of the city, having luxury brand stores, stylish cafes, and well-known restaurants.
Nearly 100 works of art are exhibited throughout The Artisan Istanbul MGallery Hotel, the premium category brand of the Accor Group. The resident collection gives you an opportunity to encounter traces of Istanbul and see works by local artists in addition to works by globally renowned artists. The Director of Sales and Marketing holds a critical role in driving revenue and shaping the hotel's brand image. They develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the hotel's objectives. This entails overseeing the sales team, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally, they are responsible for creating innovative marketing campaigns, utilizing various channels to promote the hotel's unique offerings, and enhancing its online presence. The Director of Sales and Marketing also collaborates with the corporate office to align with brand standards and leverage resources. Ultimately, their aim is to maximize profitability, attract affluent travellers, and ensure the hotel's success in a highly competitive market.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field is generally required. Candidates with a master's degree or specialized certifications in sales, marketing, or revenue management are preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry, i.e., at least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles, including leadership or managerial positions.
- Luxury Hotel Experience: Strong knowledge and experience in the luxury hotel segment is highly desirable. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of success in driving revenue, managing high-value accounts, and creating exceptional guest experiences within the luxury sector.
- Sales and Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices is necessary. Candidates should have proven expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans, analyzing market trends, and executing successful campaigns across various channels.
- International Exposure: Experience working in an international environment or with an international hotel chain is advantageous. Global perspective, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt strategies to local markets are valued qualities.
- Technological Proficiency: Utilizing technology and digital platforms for marketing and sales is essential. Candidates should be familiar with guest relationship management (CRM) systems, revenue management software, digital marketing tools, and data analytics.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages can be advantageous, especially in catering to diverse guest preferences.
