As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the establishment, including guest rooms, public spaces, and offices. Operating on a roster basis, you ensure efficient and courteous service, striving for maximum guest satisfaction while adhering to the hotel's cleanliness standards. Your duties encompass cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in designated areas. Contributing significantly to a positive guest experience, you play a crucial role in upholding the hotel's standards.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty promptly, wearing the correct uniform and name tag consistently.
• Provide guests with a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Ensure the hotel's cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Clean front and back areas within specified time frames.
• Maintain hygienic standards in lobby, restroom, and corridor areas.
• Vacuum carpets and empty ashtrays and urns.
• Polish and clean furniture and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
• Wash walls and ceilings as needed.
• Promptly remove rubbish.
• Clean and polish elevators.
• Regularly clean mirrors, glass, and windows.

Experience/Certificates/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
• Stamina to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach.
