Reporting to the General Manager, the Revenue manager is responsible for determining the strategic objectives and strategies that drive hotel revenue across all channels: rooms, food and beverage, and events. They are also responsible for ensuring that the inventory, pricing, and distribution strategy is developed to support the hotel's overall revenue objectives, in accordance with brand recommendations. The manager is responsible for making strategic decisions that ensure the overall profitability of the hotel, as well as guaranteeing rate integrity and long-term guest satisfaction.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in revenue management within a five-star hotel establishment or equivalent field, demonstrating a proven track record of exceptional performance.
- Comprehensive expertise in advanced revenue optimization strategies and techniques is essential.
- Superior analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic, actionable plans.
- Demonstrated proficiency in hotel revenue management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and data visualization tools (such as IDEAS G3, TARS, and similar platforms).
- Exemplary leadership abilities, with a history of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams in a demanding environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, suitable for high-level executive interactions.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with the proven ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions in critical situations.
- In-depth, current knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends is crucial.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are imperative.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and focus.
- Substantial experience in the hospitality or travel industry is mandatory.
Candidates with extensive experience in the hotel industry and strong market connections are preferred. Applicants with significant influence in the industry will have an advantage.
