This is an exciting new position within Ennismore’s growing portfolio of lifestyle brands, representing the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt.


Job Description

The Revenue & Reservations Manager plays a crucial role in driving the financial success of the property by maximizing room revenue and optimizing occupancy. This role involves developing strategic pricing and distribution plans, managing the reservations team, and closely analyzing market trends to ensure competitive positioning. As a key contributor to both pre-opening and operational phases, the manager collaborates with multiple departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences while meeting revenue targets. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the local market are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced role.

What you’ll do...

Pre-Opening Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies tailored for the property’s launch phase to maximize initial occupancy and revenue.

  • Set up and test revenue management and property management systems (PMS) to ensure readiness at opening.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align pre-opening sales and booking strategies.

  • Train the reservations team on systems, upselling, and guest service protocols prior to opening.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.

  • Manage the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.

  • Monitor KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy, adjusting strategies accordingly.

  • Maintain strong relationships with OTAs and GDS platforms to ensure optimal distribution and visibility.

  • Generate regular revenue reports and forecasts for senior management.

  • Implement cost-effective and innovative revenue management techniques.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and mentor the reservations team to enhance skills in upselling, customer service, and operational efficiency.

  • Foster a collaborative, motivated team culture focused on achieving revenue goals and delivering excellent guest experiences.

  • Manage recruitment, performance evaluations, and ongoing development within the reservations department.

Brand & Culture Contribution

  • Support the brand’s positioning by ensuring all revenue and reservation activities align with the company’s lifestyle and guest experience standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless guest journeys from booking through stay.

  • Promote a guest-centric approach, reflecting the brand’s values in all customer interactions and team behaviors.


Qualifications

What we’re looking for… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in revenue management or reservations within the hospitality industry.

  • Proficient in revenue management systems and property management systems (PMS).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Expertise in pricing strategies, yield management, and forecasting techniques.

  • Experience working with online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of hospitality industry trends and local market dynamics.

  • Previous experience working in the Egyptian market is essential.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
