Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and service oriented Restaurant Server to join our team at Cucina, one of the signature dining outlets at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort.
As a Restaurant Server at Cucina, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, in depth product knowledge, and warm hospitality in a vibrant Italian inspired dining atmosphere.
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor
- Present menus and provide detailed explanations of dishes, beverages, and daily specials
- Offer recommendations and upsell signature dishes and beverages
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service
- Process bills and handle payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or upscale restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Well groomed with professional appearance
- Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Positive attitude, energetic personality, and passion for hospitality
