Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

  • Lead and manage the team, including training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest concerns promptly
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and control costs
  • Oversee inventory management, including food and supply ordering
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health codes
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed business decisions
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment for all team members
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for all restaurant operations
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to improve team performance
  • Handle administrative tasks, including payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in high-volume, high-quality restaurant operations
  • Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience in the food service industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computers, Microsoft Office, and industry-standard restaurant management software
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and cost control
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and health codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
