Are you enchanted by the magic of the holiday season and have a passion for creating dazzling light displays? We are seeking skilled Lighting and Decor Technicians to join our team and bring festive joy to the community through the artistry of holiday lighting. As a Lighting and Decor Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining holiday lights and decor with precision and care.

This is a seasonal role that will provide full time hours through the end of January 2026.

Responsibilities

Installation and Setup:

• Safely install and set up holiday light displays and decor according to design specifications.
• Ensure proper placement of lights on trees, buildings, and other structures.
• Responsible for making power runs for all displays.

​​​Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve any technical issues with decor promptly and efficiently.
• Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair problems

Comfortable with Heights:

• Comfortably work at elevated heights to install and maintain lights on tall structures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights.

​​​​​​​Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs of equipment and materials.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time outdoors

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Attention to Detail:

• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in the arrangement and configuration of decorations.
• Maintain the aesthetic integrity of the designs and fix any discrepancies.

Customer Interaction:

• Interact professionally with colleagues and address any concerns or questions regarding the displays.

Patience and Adaptability:

• Exhibit patience when troubleshooting issues and adaptability to changing project requirements.
• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak holiday seasons.

Strike and Removal

• Safely break down all light displays and decor and prepare transportation back to off-site storage.
• Ensure everything is accounted for and oversee transportation.

Continuous Upkeep

• Inspect all displays throughout the season and ensure all are in working order when it comes time to set again
• Make any corrections to fix displays, including but not limited to re-lamp, replacing garland, zip tie work, and replacing fuses

• Previous experience in Christmas light installation or related field.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with basic electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Patience and attention to detail.
