Job Description

The Residential Concierge provides exceptional personalized service and enhancing the overall resident experience. As the face of the property, the Residential Concierge plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere for residents. They are responsible for anticipating and fulfilling residents' needs and preferences, coordinating various services and amenities, and ensuring a seamless and memorable stay. The Residential Concierge acts as a trusted advisor and resource, offering recommendations for local attractions, dining, and entertainment options. By delivering unparalleled customer service and attending to every detail, the Residential Concierge aims to exceed residents' expectations and contribute to the prestigious reputation of the residences. 


Qualifications

  1. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional certifications or training in hospitality, customer service, or related fields can be beneficial.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is usually preferred. Experience in the hospitality industry, residences, or high-end hotels is highly valued. Demonstrated experience in handling guest requests, providing personalized service, and resolving issues effectively is essential.
  3. Professionalism and Poise: The Residential Concierge represents the residence, so a polished and professional appearance is important. Poise, tact, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and composure are essential.
  4. Knowledge of the Area: Familiarity with the local area, including knowledge of nearby attractions, restaurants, transportation options, and services, is valuable. This enables the concierge to provide recommendations, arrange reservations, and assist residents in exploring the surroundings.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for interacting with residents, guests, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. The ability to build rapport, actively listen, and provide personalized service is crucial.
  6. Flexibility and Availability: The residences operate 24/7, requiring the Residential Concierge to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability to meet the needs of residents and accommodate varying shift requirements is necessary.
  7. Confidentiality and Trustworthiness: Given the nature of the role, maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' privacy is of utmost importance. The Residential Concierge must handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold a high level of trust.
  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to think quickly on one's feet, anticipate residents' needs, and proactively resolve issues is critical. Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
  9. Customer Service Orientation: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service is paramount. A strong focus on providing personalized experiences, anticipating residents' preferences, and going above and beyond to exceed expectations is key to success in this role.
