Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservations Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this key role, you will oversee the reservations department, ensuring optimal revenue generation and exceptional guest experiences.

  • Lead and manage the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals
  • Oversee daily reservations operations, implementing effective strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Monitor and analyze reservation trends, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance
  • Ensure all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with revenue management, sales, and front office teams to align reservation strategies with overall business objectives
  • Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve escalated customer issues
  • Generate and analyze reports on reservations performance, providing insights to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and standards

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations, with a proven track record in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and global distribution systems (GDS)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue management
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Proficient in time management and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and cultural norms
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
