Job Description

Working as an integral member of our Reservations team, you will be a center point of contact for our guests before they arrive at our hotel.

Starting Pay Rate: $24.55

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.60 per hour.

Job Duties Include:

  • To monitor and balance inventory to maximize revenues.
  • Manage Online Travel Agency Sites
  • Assist with building and managing rate and package codes, including operational flows, communicating offers to the hotel community, and testing for deficiencies
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reports as assigned
  • To handle overflow of Tour reservations, with knowledge of Key Accounts and their contracts
  • Entering rooming list and reservations as required
  • Full knowledge and ability to promote internal outlets
  • Maintain accurate records of all guest and employee requests
  • Provides leadership, motivation, direction, training and support to the Reservations Sales Agents

Qualifications

  • Previous Reservations and/or Front Office experience is required
  • Previous Supervisory experience is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Property Manager, Windows, MS Office, Word, and Excel an asset
  • Post secondary education in Hotel Management an asset
