Reservations Sales Agent

Pullman Adelaide joined the Accor network in 2017. Situated in the heart of the Adelaide CBD and featuring 308 guestrooms, a thriving restaurant and bar space, and top floor meeting room facilities, Pullman Adelaide is on an exciting journey to elevate the 5 star offering in Adelaide.

We are ready to welcome a Reservations Sales Agent to our guest obsessed team in this influential role. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will play a pivotal role and deliver flawless customer service at every part of their journey. 

Responsibilities include:

• Handle incoming reservation inquires via phone, email and online channels
• Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences 
• Process reservations accurately and efficiently in our reservations system
• Provide information about the hotel facilities, services, and policies to guests
• Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise

You will have:

• working experience in a similar role (front office / reservations within premium segment in hotels is preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities 
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
• a proven record of accurate reporting, while working within time constrains
• Ability to work part time, but adjust to a flexible roster (mostly Monday - Friday, however some weekend work may be required from time to time)
• an good understanding of reservations processes
• the ability to think creatively and be a proactive self-starter
• knowledge of the Adelaide market is advantageous
• experience working with Opera Cloud and Resaweb is preferred
