Job Description

What is the opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity for an future leader ready to take a new challenge. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, and working closely with the C&E Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role and deliver flawless customer service at every part of their journey. You will be responsible for supporting the reservations team in end to end process of FIT and Conference & Events Groups bookings. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle incoming reservation inquires via phone, email and online channels
  • Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences 
  • Process reservations accurately and efficiently in our reservations system
  • Provide information about the hotel facilities, services, and policies to guests
  • Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise

Qualifications

An experienced and confident Hotel Front Office or Reservations professional with a proven record of accuracy while processing high volume of data.  You will have an excellent understanding of Reservations processes, the ability to think creatively and be a proactive self-starter.

In addition, you will have:

  • working experience in a similar role (front office / reservations within premium segment in hotels is preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities 
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
  • a proven record of accurate reporting, while working within time constrains
  • Ability to work full time (mostly Monday - Friday, however some weekend work may be required from time to time)
  • knowledge of the Adelaide market is advantageous
  • experience working with Opera Cloud and Resaweb is preferred
