Hyde London City marks the rebirth of a London icon. This lavish seven-storey, 111-room property at 15 Old Bailey draws upon a rich and storied past to create a luxurious, bespoke hideaway in the heart of the city. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, the Reservations Agent will be the go-to person for guests booking their stay at Hyde London City. You’ll play a key role as the initial contact for guests, giving top-notch service, making guests feel at home, and finding ways to boost sales.
What you’ll do…
- Answer guest enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay on top of what's happening in our hotels and the local scene.
- Quote rates, process and confirm reservations by email or phone, following the department’s guidelines.
- Maximise our sales by having a sales mindset and jumping on any chances to upsell.
- Highlight extra services or special packages to boost sales.
- Make sure every reservation has the right billing info and payment method.
- Secure bookings, and charge no-show or late cancellation fees when needed.
What we’re looking for…
- Experience in a similar role within 4/5 star Hotel.
- Outstanding organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and excellent command of the English language.
- Previous experience working with OPERA.
- Boutique hotel experience will be advantageous.
- Your humble and open to ideas. We leave our egos at the door and help get it done.
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
