Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Reservation Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests by managing bookings, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth reservation process.

  • Handle all reservation-related communications via phone, email, and other channels
  • Process bookings accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest information is correctly recorded
  • Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and hotel amenities
  • Upsell and cross-sell hotel services to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Resolve guest concerns and issues related to reservations in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated
  • Maintain an organized filing system for reservations and related documentation
  • Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and local events to provide accurate information to guests
  • Generate and distribute daily reports on reservation status and occupancy forecasts
  • Assist in training new team members as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems, such as Opera PMS or Opera Cloud (preferred)
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while delivering efficient service
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell hotel services

Additional Information

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
