Public Area Attendant
Position Overview
Provide high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all public areas of the hotel. Ensure a welcoming and pleasant environment for guests by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in public spaces. The role requires flexibility and availability, including weekends, with working hours from 06:30am to 14:30pm, five days a week. 40 Hours Per Week.
Rate of Pay - £12.50 Per Hour
Main Responsibilities
Duties
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-facing spaces.
Perform regular checks to ensure all areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.
Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
Ensure timely and efficient collection and disposal of waste and recycling materials.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Assist in setting up and maintaining public areas for special events and functions.
Follow hotel brand standards and procedures for cleaning and presentation.
Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
