Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Power House & RO Plant Technician to join our team in Kooddoo, Maldives. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our power generation facilities and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant.

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain power generation equipment and systems
  • Manage the daily operations of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in both power and water treatment systems
  • Monitor and adjust control systems to optimize plant performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of operations, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and upgrades to existing systems
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and equipment failures to minimize downtime
  • Assist in inventory management of spare parts and consumables

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in power plant and RO plant operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of power generation systems and RO plant operations
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in monitoring and control systems for industrial applications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in industrial settings
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to work in a remote location (Kooddoo, Maldives)
  • Relevant certifications in power plant operations and water treatment systems (preferred)
  • Experience working in island or remote locations (preferred)
