The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney is the embodiment of chic style and sophistication. The hotel is located in The Rocks, close to Circular Quay. A stone’s throw away from the iconic Sydney Opera House with breathtaking views of the of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Featuring contemporary one and two-bedroom apartments with first-class amenities, restaurants and bars. Our building is the home to many residents who we provide building services to, and commercial areas.

Reporting to the Guest & Residents Experience Manager, you will be responsible for the welcoming experience and initial contact to all who walk through the doors, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and responding to resident and guest requests promptly. This role is welcoming guests, carrying luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, valet parking, as well as, retrieving guests’ cars.

Your role will also include explaining the facilities of the Hotel, processing and delivering packages to our residents, providing tourism information in dining or entertainment recommendations to our guests. You will respond to guest calls promptly ensuring an outstanding guest experience and assist any resident or guest with inquires. 

You will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times while ensuring guest confidentiality and following procedures and processes. You will be required to valet park cars and assist guests with luggage and belongings ensuring total customer satisfaction.   

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to excel within a luxury brand and unique property. You will also be required to be available to work within the hotel on weekends, and public holidays. This role requires you to be able to work shift work rostered over 7 days, daytime or overnight shifts. 

You will also bring with you previous service experience and will hold an unrestricted full Australian driver’s licence and will have unlimited working rights. You will pride yourself on your excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have a high standard of personal presentation, and above all else, your enthusiasm to provide our guests with an outstanding service will allow you to stand out from the rest.
