Job Description

Our porters are both the first and last person our guests encounter at our resort, and you will pay an integral role in ensuring every guest receives the warmest of welcomes, and leaves feeling valued.

Your duties will include:

  • Welcome and farewell our guests in a genuine manner, and attend to their needs throughout their stay
  • Assist with handling of luggage, delivering to rooms, and storing as required.
  • Arrange transportation and tours for guests, providing accurate directions and sharing your knowledge of the local area.
  • Control parking of cars in the car park, assisting with valet parking as required.
  • Ensure all daily checklists are completed and handovers thorough.
  • Keep up to date information for all hotel services, promotions, outlet opening times and ensure you are familiar with local events.
  • Keep up to date information for places to see, go and dine in the local area of Noosa.
  • Ensure fast, effective and friendly service is provided to internal and external guests at all times.

Qualifications

You will have a can-do attitude with a passion for guest service. Additionally you will require:

  • A valid driver's license with ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of Noosa and surrounds.
