You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience while also ensuring a clean environment of our guests. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings makes guests feel unique and valued. This is a Full Time Seasonal position from May through September.

What you will be doing:

• Greet guests, sharing your full knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, beverage lists, and specialty items with our guests, taking and placing guest orders, preparing basic beverages for guest service delivering food and drink items, and clearing dishes all while providing excellent service 
• Attend to guest’s pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting and replenishing fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, selling retail items and maintain the highest level of cleanliness of the pool area 
• Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner 
• Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations

Your experience and skills include: 

• Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage service 
• Previous experience in a 5 Star hotel environment with Forbes Training experience is highly valued, however it is not a requirement 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times 
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving abilities 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment 
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team 
• California RBS Certificate 
• Food Handler’s Card
