Plumber (Full-Time)

Located in the heart of Canada's capital next door to the Parliament Buildings, the landmark Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa is looking to fill a role of Plumber.

• Full rate of pay of $37.51/hour

• Maintain, repair and do preventative maintenance on all plumbing, including all equipment, appliance, and minor repairs to the steam distribution
• Maintain HVAC system
• Maintain and drain roof vent and waste water system
• maintain chilled and condenser water distribution
• maintain heating water and steam distribution
• Do all preventive maintenance as scheduled by the Engineering office
• Maintain all distributions according to the OBC and local authority
• Assist with any Fire and life system  issues
• Do all work orders as assigned
• Maintain potable hot and cold water distribution
• Assist other trades as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Maintenance and repairs 
• Language: Fluent in both official languages
• Graduated from a technical school 
• Holds an Ontario Plumber’s Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal)
