Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and empathetic People & Culture Executive to join our growing team in Kooddoo, Maldives. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our organizational culture, supporting employee well-being, and driving people-focused initiatives that align with our strategic goals. You'll work collaboratively across all levels of the organization to create an inclusive, engaging workplace where every team member can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our mission.

  • Prepare, maintain, and organize comprehensive personnel files, leave records, and medical documentation in compliance with Maldives labor laws and organizational policies
  • Coordinate and facilitate seamless onboarding and training programs for new employees, ensuring a welcoming and positive first experience
  • Manage accurate and timely execution of payroll, timekeeping, and attendance management processes with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory procedures and employment regulations specific to Maldives
  • Design and coordinate internal communication initiatives, company announcements, and employee engagement events that strengthen organizational culture and foster a sense of community
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback with genuine empathy, transparency, and professionalism
  • Analyze HR metrics, trends, and data to prepare insightful reports that inform strategic people decisions and support organizational objectives
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote employee development, engagement, and retention
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify culture-building opportunities and drive innovative people initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate people-related updates to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Proven experience in personnel administration, timekeeping management, and employee record maintenance
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and demonstrated familiarity with HRIS or HR management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all organizational levels
  • Experience in employee engagement, culture building, internal communications, or related people initiatives
  • Ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Genuine empathetic listening skills with a sincere interest in supporting employee well-being and development
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of Maldives labor laws and employment regulations, or willingness to develop expertise in this area
  • Project management skills with the ability to successfully execute culture and engagement initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and maintain transparent communication
  • Strong organizational behavior awareness and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture
