You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and flavors that are hallmarks of our restaurant and lounge experience. Your warm, personal attention and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to!

Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items, and preparation methods

• Mix drinks and control the beverage stock and budget
• Create and assist in developing new cocktails for seasonal menus
• Work alongside other team members to enhance and develop the cocktail menu
• Multi-task by working the bar, lounge, and restaurant
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow Hawthorn policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
• 5 years of previous bartending experience preferred
• Self-starter and autonomous
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven track record of successful cocktail menu development
• Strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
