As an Overnight Houseperson, you will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting the Housekeeping operation. Working overnight, you will ensure all public areas, storage spaces, and housekeeping closets are fully cleaned, organized, and replenished—setting the team up for success for the following day. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create a seamless experience for both guests and colleagues.

What you will be doing:

  • Clean and maintain all public areas, back-of-house spaces, and service areas throughout the night
  • Replenish housekeeping closets with linens, amenities, and supplies to ensure the team is fully set up for the next day
  • Organize storage areas and maintain cleanliness and order in all housekeeping pantries
  • Support room attendants by preparing carts, supplies, and equipment
  • Remove garbage, recycling, and linen from floors and designated areas
  • Complete deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
  • Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Being a team player in assisting in restocking, and cleaning common areas of the hotel
  • Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests, responding promptly to any special requests
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
  • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively overnight
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in a luxury environment
