• Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following Rixos Standards of Performance.
• Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within different sub-departments of the Food & Beverage Division or any other department of the hotel as assigned.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures established for the place of work as assigned.
• Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.
• Provide a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service as per Standard Operational Procedures.
• Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Establish a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationships.
• Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Report guest complaints or problems to Managers if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow-up with guests.
• Assist in carrying out monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
• Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhering to the hotel and department appearance standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in food and beverage service, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various sub-departments and handle different tasks as assigned.
