Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

Operations Manager – Azure Beach Club

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the F&B strategy & business plan as well as overseeing all the food and beverage operations including culinary, restaurant, beverage, and service operations.

  • Developing and maintaining F&B budgets
  • Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans and actions for Food and Beverage departments
  • Maintains a positive cost management index for restaurant operations
  • Utilizes budgets to understand financial objectives 
  • Oversees and manages all restaurant, beverage, and service operations
  • Maintain on a day-to-day basis the standards and policies of the waterpark as agreed by the General Manager
  • Plans the yearly targets and financial budgets for his/her area
  • Controls and analyses the quality levels of production and presentation, payroll and food/beverage cost, cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene
  • Responsible, with the Executive Chef, for the annual planning of food promotions
  • Responsible for the control and consumption of china, glass, and cutlery. He/she has the breakage under control as well as the stock levels in the store (in coordination with accounting)
  • Liaise closely with the Food Cost Controller to guarantee a cost according to the financial targets, to recognize price increases and adjust prices accordingly, if necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management/ Hospitality/ Business Administration
  • 5 years experience in leadership role in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • HACCP Certification
  • Has strong leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience in Middle East is an added advantage
