Night Porter

Ibis Perth is undergoing an exciting transformation, with a complete refurbishment set to elevate our venue to new heights. With 192 air-conditioned rooms, an inviting elevated bar, and an all-day dining outlet, we are ready to make a lasting impression on our guests.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our team on a casual basis. Working two nights per week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role involves assisting guests, maintaining security, handling late check-ins and early departures, and supporting the night audit process.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Carrying luggage and assisting with valet parking for guest vehicles
• Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining hotel facilities
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation standards of the hotel entrance
• Delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms
• Providing tourism information, including dining and entertainment recommendations
• Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
• Ensuring the highest levels of guest service, with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including overnight shifts

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
• Ability to lift heavy luggage and provide assistance as needed
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
• A responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification
• A C Class Driver's Licence (manual) is essential
• Ability to work unsupervised and respond promptly to guest needs
• Experience with upselling and guest interaction is advantageous
