Job Description

As Night Auditor, you will be the calm and confident presence guiding our hotel through the overnight hours. You will deliver a refined, personalised experience for our guests while ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and financial integrity of the property overnight. This role also steps in to cover the Night Manager on days off, taking full ownership of overnight operations and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a warm, discreet, and personalised welcome to late arrival guests and a polished farewell to early departures

  • Acting as the custodian of the guest experience overnight, balancing exceptional service with uncompromising attention to safety and security

  • Responding to guest requests with efficiency, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to exceeding expectations

  • Overseeing nightly financial processes including reconciliation of all outlets and completion of daily revenue postings

  • Preparing, reviewing, and distributing audit and operational reports with absolute accuracy

  • Managing reservations and in house guest accounts, ensuring all details are recorded precisely and confidentially

  • Collating and preparing departure documentation and coordinating closely with the Front Office team

  • Handling guest enquiries with poise and discretion, ensuring timely and thoughtful resolutions

  • Ensuring a thorough and effective handover of all operational matters at the start and end of each shift

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in detail, understands the importance of presence and presentation in a luxury environment, and is comfortable being the decision maker overnight.


Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous
  • Enthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their story
  • An energetic, team focused and can do attitude
  • Exceptional grooming, presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of computer literacy – Opera experience preferred
  • Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster from 11pm to 7am is essential
