Job Description

As Night Auditor you will assist with the night operations of the hotel and be responsible for creating a warm and personalised welcome experience for our guests overnight. This role will also step up to cover days off for the Night Manager - overseeing night operations, ensuring the general safety and security of guests, staff and the property is maintained at all times.

Your typical duties will include but won't be limited to:

  • Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewelling our early departures
  • Maximising the guest experience as well as the safety and security of the property
  • Attending to guests requests efficiently and effectively in order to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing daily revenue postings
  • Preparing and distributing relevant audit reports
  • Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guests details ensuring all details are recorded accurately
  • Collating paperwork for departures and coordinate with the Front Office team
  • Responding to guest enquires and requests in a timely manner
  • Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift


What you need to be successful

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous
  • Enthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their story
  • An energetic, team focused and can do attitude
  • Exceptional grooming, presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of computer literacy – Opera experience preferred
  • Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster from 11pm to 7am is essential
