Job Description

Mövenpick Wellington invites you to join our team as a Part-Time Night All-Rounder, where hospitality meets sweet indulgence.

Do you thrive in the quiet of the night and enjoy being the one who keeps the hotel running smoothly while others rest? In the Capital City nights are never dull – you’ll be the reassuring presence for our guests, the multitasker who can handle anything, and the one who ensures every detail sparkles by sunrise.

With warmth and confidence, you’ll welcome late arrivals, assist with guest needs, keep public areas spotless, complete security checks, promote the ALL - Accor Live Limitless and make sure everything is ready for the day ahead.

Key Information:

  • This role is Permanent Part-Time (Minimum 16 hours per week). 
  • Night Shift Allowance (Hours worked between 12am - 5am are paid at 1.25x the ordinary hourly rate)
  • You must be available to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

Must have:

  • A service-focused personality with proven customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hotel environment (Preferably Front Office)
  • The ability to remain composed, alert, and dependable while working night shifts
  • Confidence in multitasking across a variety of duties, from guest interactions to maintaining hotel standards
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, punctual approach
  • A genuine passion for creating welcoming experiences and going the extra mile for guests
  • The physical capability to complete cleaning tasks, lift heavy items and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Full New Zealand working rights
  • Full clean NZ Driver’s Licence (Able to drive manual and auto preferred)

Desirable:

  • Previous hotel night audit or finance-related experience
