Multi-Hotel Finance Officer

The Fragrance Group has a perfect opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our amazing team.  The portfolio consists of Mövenpick Hotel Hobart | Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer | ibis Styles Hobart | Novotel Devonport.

• Assisting with Accounts Payable & Accounts receivable, debt collection, and follow-ups as needed
• Helping manage daily cash receipts, including reconciling cash, cheques, and foreign currency transactions
• Supporting the month-end closing process by preparing account reconciliations and assisting with journal entries
• Maintaining accurate records of cash floats and assisting with monthly cash audits
• Providing general support to the Finance team with ad hoc tasks and compliance requirements

• Previous experience in Finance Administration or related position, preferably in the Hospitality industry
• Experience with Opera and SUN Systems viewed favourably
• Understanding and basic knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently or with a team and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Service-oriented with a meticulous eye for detail
• You must have unlimited work rights in Australia
