Job Description

  • Inventory Management:
    • Ensure adequate stock levels of mini bar items, including beverages, snacks, and amenities.
    • Monitor stock rotation and expiration dates to minimize waste.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile with the system.
  • Mini Bar Maintenance:
    • Inspect mini bars daily for cleanliness, functionality, and any damage.
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
    • Ensure mini bars are properly stocked and organized before guest check-in.
  • Staff Management:
    • Train and supervise mini bar staff on proper stocking procedures, guest service, and cash handling.
    • Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
    • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Guest Service:
    • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries related to mini bar services.
    • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor mini bar revenue and expenses.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
    • Implement strategies to increase mini bar revenue and minimize costs.
  • Security:
    • Ensure the security of mini bar inventory and cash.
    • Implement measures to prevent theft and loss.
    • Comply with all hotel security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Knowledge of inventory control and financial management.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
