Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Manager to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth in this unique tropical setting.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives
  • Lead the creation and management of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
  • Oversee the development of compelling content for various marketing materials, including website, social media, and promotional collateral
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, agencies, and local businesses
  • Plan and coordinate marketing events, product launches, and promotional activities
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
  • Stay abreast of emerging marketing trends and technologies, implementing innovative approaches where appropriate
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are culturally sensitive and resonate with both local and international audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Strong command of brand communication tools and platforms
  • Excellent skills in media relations, press release writing, event planning, and content creation
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media management and email marketing
  • Experience in managing the design and production of marketing collaterals
  • Familiarity with basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and marketing metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Vietnamese would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and mentoring teams
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse, international environment
  • Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry would be beneficial
  • Willingness to embrace the local culture and contribute to the community in Phu Quoc
