Established in 2000 in Turkey, Rixos pioneers the ‘ALL Inclusive, ALL Exclusive’ concept, inviting guests to discover a world of possibilities, with luxurious stays, inclusive of culinary delights from around the globe, live entertainment, daily sports, and fitness activities, sensorial spa and wellness journeys and fun-filled kids and teens activities.
Billed as ‘the first luxurious integrated resort in Jeddah’, Rixos Obhur Jeddah will meet the increasing demand for luxurious hospitality paired with high-quality leisure activities in the area. The resort will host guests in 250 residential units, including 176 rooms and 74 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches and a port.
- Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications in maintaining an implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
- Identifies and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately
- Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.
- Self motivator and outgoing enabling to socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.
- Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to the sponsorship proposals; negotiations and letters of thank s and appreciation.
- Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications in handling the events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to make sure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts
- Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors
- Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
- Hosts members of the media, strategic partners and top clients at the property’s functions andevents.
- Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material.
- Takes photographs of all internal functions, Banquet and Conference functions and VIP’s in the hotel visiting.
- Attends all events and promotions.
- Press cuttings of the Arabic and English publications.
- Submits a monthly report to the Director of Marketing and Communications updating on all matters related to the activities within the department.
- Attends division and general meetings whenever required
- Undertakes such additional duties as may be required by the General Managers, the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Marketing and Communications and Corporate Marketing at any given time.
- To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- Previous hospitality experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills required.
