Reporting to the Director, Residences, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Manage day to day activities and perform ongoing maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance ensuring standards are met
• Inspect and maintain facilities, grounds, infrastructure and equipment
• Maintain all buildings, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, masonry and other related maintenance
• Manage preventative maintenance program for residences, public areas and safety systems
• Supervise maintenance contractors on site
• Maintain complete and accurate records
• Implement all safety programs, fire safety plan, building evacuation plan, disaster recovery plan, etc.
• Monitor energy and water management programs providing input and recording results
• Direct mechanical snow removal contractors and perform manual snow removal to ensure parking lots, driveways and walkways are kept safe and clear of snow
• Oversee pool and spa maintenance, ensuring that they meet maintenance and safety requirements
• Conduct home and shop inventories to manage inventory to requirements. Procure and maintain inventory required according to purchasing policies
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety polices
• Other duties as assigned

• Maintenance Technician experience
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Experience with carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related experience
• Experience maintaining pool and spa
• BC drivers license in good standing
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft programs
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision 
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
