Job Description

A Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for preventing theft and other losses in a retail store, warehouse, or other commercial establishment. They typically perform a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Monitoring security cameras and observing customer and employee activity
  • Investigating suspicious activity and apprehending suspected shoplifters
  • Conducting inventory audits and identifying potential theft or loss
  • Developing and implementing loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Training employees on loss prevention procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor security cameras and observe customer and employee activity
  • Investigate suspicious activity and apprehend suspected shoplifters
  • Conduct inventory audits and identify potential theft or loss
  • Develop and implement loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Train employees on loss prevention procedures
  • Work with law enforcement to prosecute theft cases
  • Stay up-to-date on loss prevention trends and technologies

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
