Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
• Treat each and every Guest as a unique individual.
• Anticipate Guests’ needs with thoughtful and personal touches.
• Resolve Guest problems and never saying “no” without offering an alternative.
• Be an ambassador for the Brand, Hotel, Community and Colleagues.
• Be guided by Fairmont core values; respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment.

• Check all linen for stains and damage and reporting in case damaged.
• Ensure that clean and dirty linen is separate within the laundry area.
• Ensure that the Laundry Room is clean and tidy.
• Use the appropriate protective clothing when dealing with soiled or infected linen.
• Make sure statutory health and safety standards in the laundry area.
• Promote the good reputation of the laundry team and the security of the laundry team is maintained at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures within the defined timescales.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Participate in hotel committee meetings
• Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC).
• Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required.

Qualifications:

• The ability to communicate well in English.
• Should possess a very cheerful, bubbly service oriented and energetic personality.
• Exceptional leadership qualities to perform duties effectively to Fairmont Standards.
• At least three (3) year’s Previous Hotel Supervisory experience in a similar work environment at a reputable Hotel.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

• Walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling anywhere from 2 – 6 hours a day. 
• Does not lift weights exceeding 25 lbs. 
• Requires constant repetitive motion. 
• Environmental stress is high – work in extreme weather conditions, high noise level and utilize hazardous machinery.
• Applicants must have permission to work in Bermuda in accordance with Bermuda Immigration legislation.
