What you will be doing:

• Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
• Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
• General cleaning and sanitizing of cooking preparation areas, storerooms, workrooms areas to the highest standards.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans, utensils and food preparation machines and clean floors, counters and work tables.
• Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant area
• Assist chefs within the scope of your abilities and training
• General pantry duties

Your experience and skills include:

• Organised and a great team player
• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Problem solver and strives for excellence
• Proven experience in following high standards of cleanliness and maintaining them
• Guest orientated
• Physical fit for a physically and hand on role (standing, lifting, carrying)
