Job Description

 

Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Location: St Andrews 

Contract: Full-time 

As Kitchen Porter carry out all required duties within the stewarding department and all related areas in accordance with standards set in the performance manual for the department.

A little bit about what you will be doing:

  • To assist with the cleaning of operating equipment during banquet functions or at peak periods in back of house areas related to the outlets
  • To wash and polish all operating equipment and cooking utensils and examine cleanliness before distribution
  • To distribute cleaned equipment to appropriate locations
  • To clear all used operating equipment for washing in accordance with the systems in use
  • To place all cleaned items in the appropriate storage areas or distribute to various outlets
  • To assist in the preparation of operating equipment for functions, inventories and other requirements and distribute
  •  To ensure standards with personal hygiene and grooming are consistently met

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Right to Work in the UK
