Kitchen Intern

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

As a Kitchen Intern, you will be responsible for aiding with food preparation in the Kitchen under the guidance of skilled chefs and assisting the smooth operations in the kitchen.

What you will be doing: 

• Learn basic culinary skills such as knife skills, plating techniques and cooking procedures under the guidance and supervision of skilled chefs.
• Assist chefs with food preparation such as chopping, marinating and preparing sauce.
• Following recipes and instructions ensures the consistent food quality
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation in food presentation.
• Assist with inventory management and kitchen operations including stocking ingredients, organizing storage areas and ensuring stock freshness.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive environment in the kitchen and ensure smooth operations.

• Creative and passionate about food and customer service
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
