Job Description

Job Purpose

The Kids Club Supervisor supports the Kids Club Manager in overseeing daily Kids Club and Teen Club operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for children. The role focuses on supervising team performance, delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and brand standards. The Supervisor assumes leadership responsibility in the absence of the Kids Club Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Supervise daily Kids Club activities to ensure smooth operations and the highest levels of guest satisfaction
  • Ensure children remain supervised at all times and stay within designated Kids Club areas
  • Distribute Kids Club programs and ensure parents/guardians complete all registration and emergency documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of Kids Club facilities, toys, and equipment
  • Create and support innovative, age-appropriate activities reflecting local culture and hotel offerings

People Supervision & Support

  • Supervise Kids Club and Teen Club Animators in line with company policies and procedures
  • Support the Kids Club Manager in staff training, performance reviews, and corrective action plans
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and ensure team compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Attend and actively contribute to Kids Club team meetings

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and child-protection policies
  • Verify that all team members maintain valid First Aid certification
  • Report incidents accurately and submit required documentation according to company procedures
  • Escalate child health concerns promptly to enable Health Alert procedures when required

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between Kids Club staff, management, and parents/guardians
  • Keep the Kids Club Manager informed of any unusual incidents, guest feedback, or operational challenges
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

ISO & Quality Compliance

  • Comply with all ISO Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 10002), hotel policies, SOPs, and applicable legal requirements
  • Actively participate in risk management, environmental sustainability, energy and water conservation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in childcare or recreational environments, ideally in a supervisory capacity
