Job Description

Job Purpose:

As a Kids Club Entertainer/Animator 1 at SLS Red Sea, your mission is to create a playful, safe, and enriching environment for our youngest guests. You support the delivery of engaging activities that inspire creativity, movement, and fun bringing the SLS flair to every game, craft, and storytelling session. This role requires energy, care, and attention to detail, ensuring that each child feels welcomed, valued, and safe throughout their time in the Kids Club.

Duties & Functions:

· Assist in the daily operation of the Kids Club, supporting the scheduled activities and ensuring children are engaged, safe, and entertained.

· Supervise children aged 4–12 during structured and free-play sessions, maintaining constant visual contact and ensuring their well-being at all times.

· Prepare and set up activity areas before each session and ensure all materials are cleaned, stored, or replenished afterward.

· Greet young guests and their families warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed about the day’s offerings.

· Maintain awareness of each child’s needs, including any allergies, special requirements, or behavioral considerations, and act accordingly in collaboration with the Supervisor.

· Lead and participate in group activities including arts & crafts, themed games, music sessions, fitness mini-classes, storytelling, and role-play scenarios.

· Animate themed events, special moments, or surprise engagements tailored for young guests, contributing to the creation of memorable family experiences.

· Adjust activity delivery based on group size, energy levels, or feedback, ensuring all children are included and having fun.

· Help facilitate seasonal programs, holiday-themed events, and pop-up play zones under guidance from the Supervisor.

· Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards established by the hotel and local regulations.

· Monitor the Kids Club area to prevent accidents and respond immediately to incidents, escalating to the Supervisor as needed.

· Follow check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring children are released only to approved guardians and that accurate records are maintained.

· Support daily cleaning routines and ensure play equipment and supplies are well maintained and sanitized regularly.

· Work closely with the Kids Club Supervisor and fellow Entertainers to deliver a consistent, coordinated experience throughout the day.

· Attend briefings and contribute creative ideas for programming and themed activities.

· Assist with the training and onboarding of new Kids Club team members when required.

· Report any maintenance issues, supply shortages, or unusual guest behavior to the Supervisor promptly.

  1. Work closely with the hotel team either in finance or other departments to ensure smooth communications are maintained.
