Job Description
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the hotel’s IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to hotel colleagues and management.
- Ensure smooth operation of hotel systems, including PMS, POS, IPTV, Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and data security in accordance with company policies.
- Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery procedures.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and IT projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records and manage IT assets.
- Train employees on the effective use of hotel technology systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of IT experience, preferably within the hospitality industry with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, IPTV, CCTV, and access control is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are an advantage.
