Interior Designer

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our growing team in Mexico.  This role involves creative design, technical expertise, and heavy project management, with a focus on delivering exceptional interiors aligned with brand standards.

We have huge ambitions to grow our lifestyle footprint across our portfolio of brands, and we want someone who is inspired to join us on our journey.  You’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our Design & Technical Services team. 

What you'll do...

• Provide design and technical services for all Mexico-based projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project requirements.
• Create and deliver various presentations, including PIP, internal meetings (LCP, GBD, etc.), new projects, and potential Development deals.
• Maintain and update project trackers, dashboards, and One Drive files to ensure accurate and current project information.  This is pivotal to the Design team.
• Review project specifications, shop drawings, and design decks, incorporating all necessary feedback and comments on signage, art, and other design elements.
• Develop project mood boards to visually communicate design concepts and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Overall department administration including preparing meeting agendas, project budgets, site visit reports, managing project timelines and ongoing project management

What we’re looking for…

• Design/Architecture background required
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality, upscale or lifestyle brand.
• Experience with systems such as AutoCAD, Adobe (photoshop, illustrator, etc), Microsoft Office required
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and have a high-level attention to detail.
• You are an excellent relationship builder, confident in working with other teams and leaders; you’re passionate about what we can achieve together
• A great communicator and presenter with stakeholders across the business at any level, including ownership.
• Fluent language skills in both English and Spanish.
