What you will be doing:

  • Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently and promptly
  • To answer phone within 3 rings and follow phone etiquette according to Rixos standards
  • Know all menus and on going promotions in the outlet by heart and gives recommendations to guests upon request
  • To provide high standard of quality and follow-up to ensure proper delivery time on time as well as speedy service
  • To ensure that all operating standards are well understood in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual
  • To ensure that the room service area is kept clean and organized at all times
  • Attend regular training session in line with the departmental SOP's i.e. guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, telephone manners etc
  • Perform tasks as per instructions from the immediate supervisor and as per duty schedule

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • You've completed a hotel & catering course, and have gained a minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English language.
  • Additional Russian Language is an advantage. 
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
