Summary:

As an In-Room Dining (IRD) Waiter at Banyan Tree Hotel, you will provide exceptional dining experiences for guests within their rooms. Your role involves delivering orders promptly and ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Order Delivery: Deliver in-room dining orders to guests' rooms efficiently and courteously, ensuring that orders are accurate and meet the hotel's presentation standards.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, address any questions or concerns, and ensure a personalized dining experience. Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with professionalism.
• Table Setup: Set up and arrange dining trays, tables, or carts in guests' rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring a polished and professional presentation.
• Service Maintenance: Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the meal and address any additional needs or requests promptly.
• Order Coordination: Collaborate with kitchen and order taker staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Communicate any special instructions or modifications clearly.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining carts and equipment. Ensure that all used items are promptly cleared from guest rooms.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests regarding their in-room dining experience and report any issues or suggestions to management for continuous improvement.

Experience/Certificates/Education:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and service etiquette.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to upholding the hotel's high standards of service.
